Online courses for founders

Dealhalcyon teaches Australian founders how to launch, fund and grow a real business

Dealhalcyon is an online education studio built for people who are tired of theory and ready to ship. Our cohort-based courses walk you through validating an idea, finding your first paying customers and structuring a seed round, all with live coaching from operators who have actually done it. No fluff, no motivational filler, no promises we cannot keep — just the frameworks, templates and feedback that move you forward week by week.

What we stand for

Education that respects your time and your bank account

We started Dealhalcyon after watching too many founders burn savings on courses that taught them vocabulary instead of skills. Our promise is simple: everything you learn here is something you can put to work on Monday morning.

Practical by default

Every session ends with an artefact — a script, a landing page, a model or a deck. You leave with something built, not something noted.

Feedback, not lectures

Small cohorts mean your work gets reviewed properly. We read your submissions and tell you honestly where the gaps are.

Grounded in Australia

Examples, legal notes and investor context drawn from the local market — not recycled American case studies that do not apply here.

Our courses

Pick the programme that matches where you are right now

Both programmes are delivered online with live evening sessions, recorded masterclasses and a private community you keep access to long after the cohort ends.

Why founders choose us

We are the course we wish we had at the start

When we launched our own companies there was nobody to tell us which questions to ask customers, how to price anything, or what a term sheet actually meant. Everything was learned the hard way, one expensive mistake at a time. Dealhalcyon exists to compress that learning curve for the next wave of Australian founders.

You get the shortcuts we earned, delivered in plain language, with the caveats attached honestly.

Reviews

What graduates say after the twelve weeks

"I had been circling the same idea for two years. The Blueprint forced me to talk to customers in week two, and by month two I had three paying clients. That would never have happened without someone chasing me."

Priya Nadar
Founder, Clarity Clinic Software

"The mock investor panel was brutal in the best way. Two of the angels gave me written notes that reshaped how I talked about retention. I closed my seed round five weeks later."

Tomas Whelan
Co-founder, Derwent Freight Systems

"I run a small business in regional Tasmania, so I was sceptical about an online course. The live sessions felt like a room full of people who actually understood the constraints I work under."

Marnie Fitzallen
Owner, Copperline Bakery Group

Questions

Things founders ask before enrolling

If your question is not here, send it through the contact form and a real person will reply — usually within a business day.

Ask us directly

No. The Startup Launch Blueprint is built for people who are still at the idea stage, and roughly half of every cohort arrives with nothing registered. The Funding & Growth Accelerator does expect a product in market and some recurring revenue.

Budget six to eight hours a week including live sessions and independent work. If you can only manage four, tell us and we will help you prioritise what actually moves the needle.

Both. Masterclasses are recorded for you to watch at your own pace, while the weekly clinics are live and interactive. Every live session is also recorded in case you cannot make it.

You will get the recording and can submit questions in advance so they are raised on your behalf in the live call. Missing one week will not derail you as long as you catch up before the next session.

Yes. There is a full cooling-off window until the end of day seven after the first live session, and a partial refund structure for the following fortnight. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

The next cohort starts soon — take the seat next to someone building the same thing

Places are capped at thirty founders per programme so every question gets answered. If you have been sitting on an idea, this is the fortnight to do something about it.
